Cheryl has hinted that she'll be bowing out of The X Factor UK once again after the current series.
The Girls Aloud's stars return to the show hasn't been spectacular, not making through to the final for the first time amid some of the lowest ratings ITV has seen.
Asked about returning for what would be a fifth series next winter, Cheryl said at the weekend: “That’s a question Simon would have to ask me himself.
“Then I would have to talk about it because it’s been very emotional."
Cheryl, who said goodbye to her final Girl Lauren Platt on Sunday night, explained: “You get attached, you try not to but we’re human at the end of the day, you can’t help but feel the emotion, it’s tough.
“You’ve probably seen us shrinking week on week.”
So it looks like we can expect rumour after rumour for the next few months about the next series until auditions start up again...
Meanwhile, Cheryl has rubbished reports that she and Mel B were involved in a backstage bust up after the Spice Girl voted out Lauren in last week's sing-off.
Cheryl said: "We are two grown women, we both know what we’re here for, we’re both professional.
“It’s not like we want to pull each other’s weaves out or anything.
“We both get very passionate so it does get a bit like: ‘Ahhh’, but we support each other at the same time because we’re going through the same experience as each other.”
But she did admit: "There have been words."
