X Factor 2014 judges Mel B and Cheryl are 'at war' following the fallout from last weekend's results show.
The pair had clashed on screen after Mel voted to send home Cheryl's last remaining act Lauren Platt ahead of Stereo Kicks in the sing-off.
The vote ended up going to deadlock where Lauren stayed in the competition, but Mel's choice still angered Cheryl.
The Girls Aloud singer made it clear she was unimpressed with Mel, sniping on the live show: “I find it amazing that the critiques have been a certain way over the last few weeks, then it comes to this part and it changes, that amazes me.”
Now it's been claimed that despite the acting for the cameras last night, the two haven't spoken backstage after a tense argument last weekend.
“Suddenly they’re like two prize fighters staring each other out before a fight," an insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper today. “Neither of them has made any effort whatsoever to make things up and it has driven a wedge down the centre of the team with different people backing Cheryl or Mel."
The source continued: “In the past the judges have been seen regularly wandering between each other’s dressing rooms, chatting away happily and hanging out after the show.
“At the moment all that has come to an end."
They claimed: "It’s not a warm environment to be around.”
Meanwhile, a source on the ITV show claimed that Simon Cowell was 'loving it'.
They said: “Simon loves how fiery the girls are getting about the show, and thinks Cheryl was right to get defensive."
