X Factor finalist Lauren Platt is reportedly upset with her mentor Cheryl.
The teenager isn't too happy with the Girls Aloud star after she claimed under 18s shouldn't be able to release music.
Speaking about plans to open her own record label, Cheryl took a bit of a swipe at younger acts.
The singer - who was vocally against this year's X Factor age drop down to 14 - said: “Look around at the child stars – the record’s not exactly promising.
"It’s too much pressure. They would have to be over 18. But I would develop them while they’re in school.”
According to Star magazine, the remarks have "upset" Lauren, who is Cheryl's lone remaining act.
An insider told the publication: "She may only be 17, but she's one of the hardest working and most mature people on the show.
"It's been a bit awkward between them, but Cheryl never meant to upset her."
However the insider also added: "Cheryl knows it sounds harsh, but she stands by what she said."
Lauren herself told the magazine this week: "I'm quite mature.
"I went to theatre school, so I've done this for a long time. I don't let the pressure get to me."
Last night saw Lauren sing live again for a spot in next weekend's final at Wembley Arena.
