X Factor Uk 2014 judges Cheryl and Mel B clashed backstage on the show at the weekend following the latest sing-off.
It was Cheryl's last act Lauren Platt in the bottom two alongside Stereo Kicks, who had been there for the third time.
Mel controversially decided to save Stereo Kicks, although it didn't matter in the end with the vocal going to deadlock and the boys going home.
Nevertheless, Cheryl was unimpressed with Mel's choice and made that clear on the live show, swiping: “I find it amazing that the critiques have been a certain way over the last few weeks, then it comes to this part and it changes, that amazes me.”
But what the audience didn’t see was the argument carry on after the show finished, with a furious Mel mouthing to Cheryl: “You what?”.
Sources on the show have claimed that once the programme was over, Cheryl refused to speak to Mel and was "livid" with the Spice Girl singer.
“In Cheryl’s opinion, Mel completely went back on everything she has been saying all series about Lauren and Stereo Kicks," an insider told The Sun newspaper today. “Cheryl was livid that Mel turned on her act and the fact she called her out in front of millions shows just how angry she was.
“But Mel is more than capable of standing up for herself and when the camera’s stopped rolling, she pulled Cheryl up straight away."
The source added: “Then they refused to sit next to each other on the Xtra Factor and when they finished filming they both stormed off to their dressing rooms.
“Cheryl is really angry about this."
Speaking on the Xtra Factor Sunday night, Mel tried to defend her choice and said: “I had to follow my heart even though it was Cheryl’s girl and I’m all about girl power.”
The X Factor continues this weekend on ITV.
