Tulisa could be in line to replace Cheryl on The X Factor panel next year.
Cheryl has been coy about coming back for another series and Louis Walsh is now championing a return for Tulisa.
"I loved having Tulisa back for judges' houses," Louis said at the weekend. "I loved having her back and I absolutely love her. I'm really good friends with her. I adore her.
"She's a great judge, she's a great mentor and she was really honest in Bermuda, she really was. She helped me pick my top three well."
In an interview with the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper, the Irish judge gushed: She's really honest, I think she's a really good girl. I hope she does well.
"I rate her as a judge but I also rate her as a person and I rate her as an artist. She's always very honest. A bit like Mel B - she says what she thinks."
In a separate interview at the weekend, Cheryl refused to comment on a possible fifth series on the show next year.
"To think about going back next year at this point is too much. I put my heart and soul into it — I’m not a half-hearted person," she told The Sun newspaper. “You feel like you’re on the biggest rollercoaster. I can’t even think about it right now. I need to find my balance, sit down, have a drink and rethink things.”
X Factor boss Simon Cowell previously backed a comeback for Tulisa.
He declared earlier this year: “It’s about time she came back. I would have her back, definitely.
“I think she’s had a tough time. She did a good job when she was an X Factor judge. ”
