Most X Factor viewers want Cheryl Cole gone, a new survey has suggested.
In a poll conducted by heat magazine this week, almost a third voted to ditch Cheryl from the panel, instead backing Mel B to stay.
In all, 54% of those polled said they thought Mel was the most honest judge of the panel, beating even Simon Cowell.
And even the contestants reckon Mel is the best of this year's judges with axed act Jake Quickenden blasting the arguing and "mind games" of the other mentors.
He said: "Simon's the king of mind games, but it would be better to get some constructive criticism rather than just arguing among themselves.
"I liked Mel, because she as straight with you - shoe wouldn't bulls*t you like what may happen with the others."
In the survey however Simon just edged out Mel to win the title of best mentor by 1%, leaving Cheryl and Louis trailing well behind.
With Simon still having all four of his acts while Cheryl is down to just one, it's not that much of a surprise.
But former Girls category singer Lola Saunders, who was eliminated on Sunday night, defended the Girls Aloud singer.
She said: "When she [Cheryl] was being nice to everyone she was seen as being soft but now she's seen as to feisty. she cant win either way."
