Jack Walton has been kicked out of The X Factor 2014 in tonight's results.
It was a shock instant elimination tonight after Simon Cowell revealed to the remaining eleven acts earlier in the week that there would be two leaving this weekend.
Tonight saw the phone lines open at the start of the show as usual but they froze ten minutes after the last performance.
A performance from The Script - singing new song No Good in Goodbye - filled the time before host Dermot O'Leary returned to the stage to reveal the results of the public vote.
There was no bottom two or sing off, with the act who received the fewest votes getting the axe there and then.
In no particular order, Dermot revealed the ten acts safe starting with Lauren Platt and Only The Young.
Ben Haenow and Stevi Ritchie followed, joined by Fleur East and Paul Akister, then Stereo Kicks and Jay.
Dermot then revealed that with fewest votes of the remaining three, Jack Walton was going home.
Jack said: "It's been absolutely amazing, it's been a world away from what I'm used to."
He added: "Mel's been mint, she's just straight to the point and been honest with me and she's such a genuine person."
The X Factor 2014 continues Sunday night with the usual results show from 8PM, featuring performances from John Legend and Cheryl.
