Stephanie Nala and Chloe Jasmine were kicked out in last night's X Factor 2014 results.

It was a double elimination again in the second results show of this year's X Factor series.

Tonight's XFactor results show opened with a powerful group performance as the remaining 14 acts sung OneRepublic's Love Runs Out.

After a recap of Saturday night's performances, Jessie J was the first of tonight's guest performers, singing Bang Bang.

She was shortly followed by Maroon 5 who sung new song Animals before Dermot O'Leary returned for the results.

It saw Stephanie Nala, Stereo Kicks and Chloe Jasmine who were in the bottom three.

The one act with the fewest votes was Stephanie, who was in the bottom two for the second week, and was eliminated straight away.

Stereo Kicks and Chloe Jasmine then sung off singing I'll Stand By You and Will You Love Me Tomorrow respectively.

It was then over to the judges, starting with Cheryl who said: "I'm going to send home Stereo Kicks.

Louis Walsh was next, declaring: I'm sending home Chloe.

Mel B then said: "Based on that performance, I'm sending Chloe home."

Simon Cowell took his sweet time with the deciding vote, "The artist who I think does have the most potential but... the artist I am sending home is Chloe.

As a result, Chloe left the competition along with Steph.

Chloe thanked Cheryl for "taking a chance with her," while Cheryl said the show had lost an "amazing character".
