X Factor's Chloe Jasmine has insisted that Cheryl Cole is an "incredible" mentor.
It follows claims by one of Cheryl's former contestants on the show Katie Wassiel, who said of the Girls Aloud star: "She obviously didn’t give a s**t about me".
Speaking this week, Chloe said of Cheryl: "She's been an incredible mentor. She was down at rehearsals and gave us some amazing advice in terms of delivery and performance and how to phrase the words."
Chloe, who last weekend performed a jazz version of Britney Spears hit Toxic, continued: "She's responsible for song choice, infusing a pop classic with a jazz twist.
"She's been very helpful about how one should handle the press and she's just such a sweet, divine person."
In an interview with new! magazine, Chloe went on: "She makes us feel involved and part of it. She really deeply cares. She's very busy with her perfume and eyelashes and new single, but she's prepared to put it all to one side for us, which is overwhelming."
Meanwhile, speaking about the comparisons between her and former finalist Katie, Chloe claimed: "I haven't heard those at all. I actually haven't noticed them at all. I don't compare, because everyone is unique and individual."
The X Factor 2014 continues this Saturday night on ITV with 80s week.
