What time does The X Factor 2014 start tonight?

The X Factor 2014 live shows begin tonight at 7:30PM on ITV and will run pretty much all night until 10PM.

Xtra Factor follows straight after over on ITV2.

Meanwhile, on Sunday night, the results air from 8PM until 9PM on ITV.

Who are The X Factor 2014 finalists?

A total of twelve acts are in the live shows as it stands.

Simon Cowell has his three overs: Ben Haenow, Jay James and Fleur East.

Mel has her boys: Jake Quickenden, Paul Akister and Andrea Faustini.

Cheryl has her girls: Lauren Platt, Chloe Jasmine and Stephanie Nala.

And Louis Walsh’s final three groups are: Only The Young, Blonde Electric and the new yet to be named eight piece boy band.

Who are The X Factor wild cards?

The wild cards will not officially be revealed until tonight, but pictures from the X Factor house have hinted (and essentially confirmed) at who they might be.

For the girls it's Lola Saunders, for the groups Overload, for the Overs Stevi Ritchie and for the Boys, Jack Walton.

It's not entirely clear if all four will stay in the competition or whether there will be some sort of vote to decide which one gets a spot in the finals.

Tonight's X Factor theme is Number Ones, with the finalists each singing both recent and old chart toppers.

Although the songs for the wild card act(s) have yet to be confirmed.

Who are this weekend's guest performers?

On Sunday night's show Taylor Swift and Pharrell Williams will be taking to the stage.

Taylor will be singing new single Shake It Off while Pharrell will perform Gust of Wind.
