The X Factor 2014 live shows will see four new wild cards, it's been confirmed.
Tonight we saw the top 12 acts revealed as each judge picked the top three acts in their respective categories for the live shows.
Simon Cowell has his three Overs: Ben Haenow, Jay James and Fleur East.
Mel has her Boys: Jake Quickenden, Paul Akister and Andrea Faustini.
Cheryl has her Girls: Lauren Platt, Chloe Jasmine and Stephanie Nala.
And Louis Walsh’s final three Groups are: Only The Young, Blonde Electric and the new yet to be named eight piece boy band.
At the end of the show it was revealed that we'd meet four new acts next Saturday night when the live shows start.
In was claimed earlier this year (although yet to be officially confirmed) that the judges would pick acts for a rival's category.
Cheryl, who has the Girls, will be picking the wild card for Mel B’s Boys, while Mel selects a group for Louis Walsh to mentor.
And then Louis will choose an Over 25 act as Simon Cowell’s wild card before the X Factor boss picks an act for Cheryl to complete the circle.
