Rumoured X Factor wild card act Orla Keogh could face prison after being arrested for drug dealing.
The singer was taken in by Police while in Ibiza last year on suspicion of dealing Class A drugs after officers allegedly found ecstasy pills and LSD tablets.
Irish Orla was kept in Spanish custody "for weeks" before being allowed home, but is still under investigation.
If she faces trial there's a maximum sentence of six years in jail.
A court spokesman in Ibiza told The Sun newspaper today: “The case is still at an investigative stage.
“If and when trial proceedings are initiated we may be in a position to release information.”
We told earlier this week how Orla was tipped to be named as a Wild Card for the Girls category, with Louis Walsh championing the performer after Cheryl dumped her at bootcamp.
But this news could put an end to that, with ITV revealing they had no idea about the incident or investigation.
A spokesperson for the channel said: “We were not aware of her arrest. At no point has she informed the production team.
“The X Factor has a system to complete criminal and welfare checks for every contestant from the Bootcamp stage onwards.”
Orla did not comment.
