X Factor group Overload have been tipped to become the wild card act for the Groups category.
The five piece were controversially booted out of the competition last weekend as Louis Walsh chose not to take them through to judges' houses.
But the X Factor wild card twist could see them come back.
Overload have sparked rumours that they've been chosen to return after they cancelled an upcoming tour due to 'personal reasons'.
The group posted on Twitter to say sorry to their fans: "Honestly you peeps mean the world us. Letting you down has made us very upset. We hope you forgive us, we love you for eternity."
Overload's huge fan base have been campaigning to get the group into the live shows, with one fan tweeting today:"EVERYONE TWEET MEL B TELLING HER TO CHOOSE OVERLOAD AS THE WILDCARD ACT FOR LOUIS GROUPS !!! SHE'S THE ONE WHO IS PICKING THE WILDCARD"
But other X Factor fans have pointed out the problem with Overload being named as the wild card.
Another Twitter user wrote online: "How can XF justify Overload being the wildcard when they didn't even make judges houses!? It's so random!"
Other acts rumoured for the four wild card spots include Girls category performer Orla Keogh and Over 28 singer Janet Grogan.
Simon Cowell sent home Janet at the weekend but tweeted after the show had aired: “I should have kept Janet. My mistake.”
The X Factor continues this Friday, Saturday and Sunday with judges’ houses.
