Louis Walsh is the X Factor's nastiest judge, according to host Dermot O'Leary.
Speaking ahead of the live shows later this month, Dermot spoke out about the "weird" and "unorthodox" X Factor judge, who has remained on the show since series one
Dermot said: “If I was a contestant, Louis would be the judge I’d want because when we go to the studios he is the dirtiest judge we have.
“He is a song stealer but also has this weird thing where he goes up to his own acts and tells them, like with Sam Callahan last year, ‘You’re going home this week,’ and then walks off.
“Louis has a weird way of motivating his acts.”
The hunky X Factor presenter confessed you never knew where you were with Louis and what he would do next.
“The court of King Louis is a weird and wonderful place," Dermot continued, “He laughs when everyone else cries and cries when they laugh. He walks to the beat of his own drum.
“He’s an extraordinary man.”
But despite the complaints that Louis generates, with claims of a fix after his six decisions during Sunday night's messy bootcamp, Dermot wouldn't do the show without him.
He added: “He’s unorthodox and unconventional but I couldn’t make the show without Louis. I adore him.
“In many ways he’s the most valuable person on the panel.
“I can always rely on him to give me a tiny bit of insanity.”
The X Factor continues this weekend on ITV.
