Cheryl Cole has declared she's more competitive than ever on The X Factor 2014 this year.
The Girls Aloud singer is back on the show for her fourth run and has the Girls category (for the third time).
Despite some dodgy choices at bootcamp which caused uproar, Cheryl is confident she can win the competition.
"Let's just say I'm more competitive than ever," Cheryl teased about a backstage rivalry between her and the other judges.
She declared: "I’m looking for somebody fresh. I’m not looking for the next whoever...
"I want somebody that we don’t quite know if we get it or not."
In an interview with the Daily Express newspaper, Cheryl also spoke about her fellow judges.
She said of Simon Cowell: “Simon is like an annoying brother [but] Simon and I have always had good chemistry…
“We bounce off each other.”
And on Mel B, Cheryl commented: “Mel is bit more blunt than I am, which I love.
“We’ve gelled really quickly [and] I’ve enjoyed working with her.”
The X Factor continues Saturday and Sunday on ITV with the first live show.
