Cheryl Cole admits fearing being LYNCHED by the crowd in tonight's X Factor 2014 bootcamp.
This evening's show sees Cheryl take charge of the Girls category as she picks which six of her acts make the cut.
But the 6,000 strong crowd at the SSE Arena, Wembley, which is made up of a number of family members and friends of the acts, don't agree with all of her choices.
When Cheryl sends one act home, the shock exit prompts an uproar in the arena with boos and jeers aimed at Cheryl.
She tells the crowd "That's my choice."
The Girls Aloud singer then confides in Simon Cowelll: "I'm going to get lynched. This is bad.
"What am I going to do? I don't want to do this."
Backstage and the youngest girl in the competition Emily Middlemas has sympathy for Cheryl.
"She's finding this so hard," she says.
Back in the arena and Simon Cowell tells the crowd: "Let's calm down for a moment," as the performances continue.
Later on and it's not just the crowd who Cheryl upsets as even her fellow judges question her choices.
A disapproving head shake from Simon Cowell is followed by: "You've made a mistake."
With the crowd continuing to boo Cheryl's latest decision, she snaps at the audience: "You've only seen one audition! I'm not bringing her back, I've made my choice and that's my choice."
The X Factor bootcamp starts this evening at 9PM on ITV.
