Tonight's X Factor 2014 bootcamp is a dramatic one: Here's a spoiler filled preview!
This evening's show starts with the first bootcamp challenge that has been cut down to all but the briefest of clips.
In groups of three or four, the acts perform on stage and are given straight yes or no decisions as to whether they're through to the six seat challenge.
It sees the 114 acts from the arena auditions whittled down to just 57, who then go on to meet their mentors.
Cheryl has the Girls, Louis is mentoring the Groups, Simon is looking after the overs and finally Mel has the Boys.
Tonight's show is all about Cheryl and her girls, although it seems that no one has quite explained to her how the six seat challenge works, asking Simon Cowell as things begin: "What do I do?"
First to sing is Lola Saunders who provides a rather iffy performance of Cece Peniston's Finally, before Chloe Jasmine sings an equally questionable version of Backstreet Boys' I Want It That Way.
We meet Shanay Holmes and Orla Keogh for the first time this series, while The Luminites' Stephanie Nala is told that "she makes the show cool" by Simon.
However Cheryl alone is deciding which girls get a seat in the next round.
Monica Michael is next to perform, choosing Olly Murs' Troublemaker which puzzles Cheryl.
Kayleigh Manners' performance of The Lumineers' Ho Hey is unfortunately forgetable while Ten Senah is told she tried too hard with a Beyonce cover.
The performance of the night comes from the adorable Emily Middlemas who is quickly becoming our favourite.
At the age of just 15, she again blows away the judges with even Louis bopping along (who knew he was an Ellie Goulding fan?)
But before Cheryl makes a choice about Emily's fate, she's warned by a producer of a special rule: If a judge chooses to put a 14 or 15-year-old through to the next round, they cannot switch them back out again.
Moving on and things get tough for Cheryl as the girls up the ante with more brilliant performances.
Chloe O'Gorman is told by Simon "you can't leave the competition" and Lauren Platt causes a fight between the panel over the uber strong Girls category.
Finally closing the show is Kerriane Covell, who sings Sara Bareilles' Gravity before Cheryl makes her final decisions as to which six girls make judges' houses.
The X Factor 2014 airs this evening at 9PM on ITV.
