Amy Connelly has made a tearful exit out of The X Factor 2014 in tonight's audition results.
In tonight's XFactor we saw Amy take to the arenas, performing Whitney Houston's Greatest Love Of All.
It comes six years after she made it through to judges' houses with Cheryl Cole back in 2008.
"I am so ready and it means so much," said Amy, who is now a mum.
After her performance, Cheryl told Amy: "Maybe it wasn't your time previously but i think you sang beautifully up there today."
But Mel B felt that Amy's voice "lacked kaboom", saying: "You've got a good voice and it was nice, like you're nice but I don't think the x factor is looking for just nice, it was just nice."
Louis Walsh agreed: "It was all nice but i thought it was karaoke, cruise ship... I'm sorry."
Simon Cowell concluded: "In my opinion, I think Cheryl made the right decision not to put you through.
"This is when you become exposed, on this big stage with a big song like that...
"I think you're a nice girl with a nice voice but there are better singers in the competition."
Despite Cheryl's insistence that she could mentor Amy to win the show, it was three nos for the 24-year-old.
The X Factor 2014 continues tomorrow night on ITV.
