XFactor 2014: Cheryl Cole impersonator Abby Eades gets four yeses

Abby Eades

Cheryl Cole impersonator Abby Eades won over The X Factor 2014 judges at the weekend.

In scenes not shown in the main ITV programme, 17-year-old Abbey wowed the panel after telling cameras: "I'm in Girls Aloud tribute, I love being Cheryl."

Abby went on to reveal: "First I was Nicola, then I was Kimberley."

She added: "The judge I want to impress today is Cheryl."

Obvs.

Despite her working as Girls Aloud tribute however, Abby went on to sing Bounty by Christina Aguilera.

Simon reacted "Wow, you can sing!" in a what Cheryl seemed to take as a bit of a swipe.

Mel B however had some criticism: "It felt a bit too musical theatre to me, get rid of that drama stuff."

As for Cheryl's opinion, she had this to say: "That's the best rendition of that song we've heard.. but I don't actually like that song."

Bit awkward.

Louis added: "You look fantastic and you sing great!"

Despite the above, with four yeses Abby's through to arena auditions!

The X Factor continues next Saturday and Sunday night on ITV.
