The X Factor 2014 room auditions continue on ITV this evening and here's our spoiler filled preview of what's to come.

For the first half of tonight's show, we're in Newcastle and facing the panel at the start is Kerrianne Covell.

The 23 year old warns the judges that she may not have a job anymore as she wasn’t allowed time off to attend the audition, something which a call to Kerrianne's boss from Simon Cowell quickly fixes.

Lauren Lovejoy doesn't have quit the usual 'X Factor look' but surprises the panel, after revealing show she sees people as animals: Apparently, Simon is a lion, Mel B is a panther, Cheryl is a Siamese cat and Louis... a seal.

Then there's a fight over this year's younger age limit as 15-year-old Stevie Tennet goes before Simon and Cheryl, can the youngster overcome Cheryl's worries about having teenagers on the show?

Tonight's latest auditions also see a number of hopefuls performing original songs to get through to the Arena auditions, with mixed results.

Geoff Mull made bootcamp last year and this time is back with his own song Better Man, while Starlight - real name Annarita - has a track called Discipline which is all about Discipline, obvs.

"Something different" Dr. King - who is neither a doctor or a king - performs original rap track Who They Want before Raign, who is 31 "but 19 really", turns to her own song Don’t Let Me Go after Clarity's Zedd fails to win over Cheryl.

Janet Grogan from Dublin sings I Can’t Make You Love Me while 15-year-old Emily Middlemas impresses with a unique cover of former X Factor finalist Cher Lloyd's Want U Back.

Michael Rice leaves us feeling hungry as the chip shop worker talks about everything from haddock to gravy and mush peas with the judges.

Next, auditions head to Mel B's home in the North West as fitness instructor Kayleigh Manners- sings Sam Smith.

Finally, Jake Quickenden makes a return to the show after getting to Nicole’s Judge’s House in 2012 but missing out on a place in the live shows.

The 25 year old performs All of Me by John Legend but is asked to sing Say something by A Great Big World after a less than impressive first performance.
