X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has admitted rumours about her bust up with Louis Walsh are very much true.
The pair were said to be “barely speaking” after repeated clashes both on and off the camera.
“The atmosphere has become toxic — she hates him with a real passion and it shows,” a source claimed previously.
Now while Cheryl didn't quite go as far as to say she hated Louis, she did say that the pair really do not like one another.
“We don’t like each other. I don’t think we ever did," Cheryl said of Louis, who used to manage Cheryl and Girls Aloud in their early years.
She said this week: “We’ll work together, but there’s no love lost. We agree to disagree.
“I suppose it’s good for the show. It would be very boring if we thought in the same way.”
Simon went on to reveal: "Cheryl had it written into her contract that she can't ever be alone with Louis."
He added: "The thing about Cheryl is that she has that likeability factor.
"When a contestant walks into a room they just immediately like her and warm to her. Louis? Not so much."
Meanwhile, Cheryl joined X Factor boss Simon in taking a swipe at former judge Nicole Scherzinger and her mentoring skills.
The Daily Mirror newspaper quotes Simon as saying: “Cheryl and I said if we had been mentoring Tamera Foster we would have got her into the final.”
The X Factor 2014 kicks off next Saturday night (August 30) on ITV from 8PM.
