X Factor 2014 judge Louis Walsh reckons he could actually win this year.
Despite being the only judge to have appeared in all eleven series of the show to date, Louis has only ever won with an act once: Back in 2005 with Shayne Ward.
While the Irish music mogul has mentored a number of other successful acts including Jedward and JLS, none of them have managed to grab the title.
But this year, Louis is hopeful, even if he has once again been given the groups category.
After picking his final six at bootcamp, Louis is said to be "delighted" to have got the category again.
A supposed X Factor insider told the Irish Sunday Mirror: “Louis is delighted to have been given the groups, but he doesn’t know how he’s going to choose [who to take to the live shows] because they’re all good.”
The show source added: “The groups are all very different but are all amazing.”
One of the acts said to be in Louis' groups category is a new EIGHT piece boyband formed at bootcamp.
After their performance at Wembley, Simon reportedly told the huge boy group: “There’s so many four piece bands, five piece bands, three piece bands- to see eight talented guys because the sound of your vocals together on the chorus, it’s like I’ve never heard this before from a group like this.”
He declared: “You’re one of the best groups we’ve had on the show.”
The X Factor 2014 starts at the end of the month on ITV.
