For the third time in her four series on the show, Cheryl is delighted to have the girls, the odds are reflecting that joy as she is joint 2/1 favourite with fellow judge Mel B to be taking her category to victory.
With Mel getting the boys she will be providing Chezza with some stiff competition, as both ladies battle it out for the top spot.
Although a number of solo female singers have enjoyed success from the show, winning has always proved tough with the last girl to triumph being Alexandra Burke, mentored by Cheryl in her first year back in 2008.
The boys category on the other hand have won HALF of all series, although have always struggled once the show is off air: Not a single one is still signed to Sony Music.
Back to this year's run and lagging behind are the boys with both Simon and Louis priced at 7/2 to mentor the winning act. Simon, apparently unhappy to have been given the over 25’s, should be overjoyed as his odds of mentoring a champion have actually been shortened from 4/1 based on his group.
It’s little surprise that Louis has been given the groups and it’s odds of 7/2 he will giving the UK 2014’s answer to One Direction.
A spokesperson for Paddy Power has said: “The categories have been assigned and the gloves are off. With Cheryl being the golden girl and the odds on her side it looks like her new man might not be her only win this year”
