The X Factor 2014 final 24 acts have been chosen after bootcamp concluded at the weekend.
Over the past two days, the judges have whittled down the acts in their categories to just six apiece.
It was revealed yesterday that this year Cheryl Cole has the Girls, Mel B the Boys, Simon Cowell the Overs and Louis Walsh the groups.
An audience of some 3,000 fans watched the final six acts decided in a tense filming session at Wembley arena last night.
And not all the decisions went down well with the audience.
"A lot of Cheryl's choices had the audience booing," a source told us, "the crowd hated her."
At one point, Simon Cowell stepped in and told the audience: "Let’s calm down...
“Sitting here is tough and stressful. Bear with her and give her a couple of minutes to make her mind up.”
Some of the acts who auditioned for this year's competition include last year's hopeful Paul Akister and Amy Connelly, who returned to sing for Cheryl after six years following her tearful 2008 audition.
But our lips are sealed when it comes to whether or not any of them have made it through to the final six in their respective categories.
You don't have to wait too long now to find out...
Meanwhile - as has become somewhat of a yearly X Factor tradition - bootcamp has also seen some new manufactured groups put together.
We can reveal that judges formed both a boy and girl gang, as usual put together from rejected solo performers.
Whether or not they'll be the next One Direction or Little Mix, or alternatively go the same way as Miss Frank, remains to be seen.
The next stage of the contest is judges' houses, with Cheryl flying out to the south of France, Simon to Las Vegas, Mel B to Mexico and Louis Walsh to Bermuda(!).
The X Factor starts later this month on ITV.
