The likes of Madonna and U2 are being lined up to perform on The X Factor 2014 live shows.
Show bosses are already in talks to sign up stars to sing in the live finals even though the series doesn't even start its auditions for another three weeks.
According to The Sun newspaper, Madonna is on top of X Factor boss Simon Cowell's wishlist of big names for the live shows.
Also wanted to sing include U2, Rihanna, Adele, as well as former judge Gary Barlow.
Cheryl Cole is also expected to sing her new single ahead of her latest album release too.
“It’s looking very hopeful Madonna will perform, possibly in November on one of the live shows," a source said today. “There are a lot of big names releasing music at that time, but she’s absolutely the number one name we are trying to secure.
“She needs her next album to be a success in the UK and a performance on ITV in front of 12 million people would be the best platform.”
