X Factor's Rylan Clark has apparently finally signed a record deal, some two years after appearing on the show.
Not that his career has exactly been held back without one, having appeared on Celebrity Big Brother before becoming a telly presenter on both This Morning and Big Brother's Bit On The Side.
But he's now set to go back to music, albeit under a different name, with a record of dance hits.
According to The Sun, Rylan has penned a deal with Universal, alongside the likes of Cheryl Cole and Will.i.am.
A supposed 'pal' of the singer told the newspaper today: “Despite the abuse Rylan got from Gary Barlow about his voice, he has always wanted to release music.
"The tracks are dance-orientated so it is fair to say there will be some auto-tuning going on.
“He feels now is the time to get back into music as well as TV stuff. He’s looking to put out the first track later this year under a different name to test the water."
They added: “He is pretty confident people will like it.”
