Cheryl Cole has earned herself a fourth number one hit with new single Crazy Stupid Love.

The song, from Cheryl's upcoming new album Only Human, sold over 118,000 copies throughout the past seven days to top tonight's Official Charts countdown.

It's Chezza's ninth number one in total and brings her tally of Top 10 hits to more than 30.

An Cheryl Fernandez-Versini Tweedy Cole told OfficialCharts.com,"It feels great to be back but even more special to have achieved my fourth Number 1. So exciting!"

“It is apt that, just a few weeks before Cheryl returns to The X Factor competition, she is again demonstrating what a winner she is” added Official Chart Company Chief Executive, Martin Talbot.

Elsewhere in today's Official Top 40, former X Factor finalist Ella Henderson remains in the top 3 with Ghost.

The song was released WAY back in June and has not left the top 10, notching up a total of some 500,000 sales.

But there's bad news for X Factor 2010 alumni Cher Lloyd with her comeback track Sirens missing the charts by the narrowest of margins, new at number 41.
