Louis Walsh is all set to return to The X Factor this year, boss Simon Cowell has confirmed.
It's no real shock although Cheryl Cole is unlikely to be happy.
The Girls Aloud star previously admitted she'd prefer another woman on the panel rather than the return of Louis.
"There’s a lot of beef between Cheryl and Louis from his days managing Girls Aloud," a source said.
But speaking at last night's premiere of X Factor musical I Can't Sing, Simon revealed: “Louis – I would love him to come back and do the show, it wouldn’t be the same without him.”
Louis himself previously insisted he wouldn't be going anywhere after eleven series on the show.
“I haven’t signed a contract yet but Simon wants me back, so I’m happy to do another year,” he said last week. “Simon’s back, Cheryl’s back and I’m ready!”
However the Irish music mogul went on to spark a new war with Cheryl by taking a swipe at her singing.
"She looks great and the public love her. She’s not the greatest singer or dancer but she knows how to perform," he said.
Meanwhile, Simon has claimed that many of the rumours flying around about the fourth X Factor judge are simply rubbish, which is no real surprise.
“A lot of the stuff I’ve read about in the press, I haven’t spoken to these people," he said.
The X Factor will air on ITV in the autumn.
