Miley Cyrus become the latest name linked to the X Factor 2014 judges.
In X Factor rumour 296, or so it feels, the We Can't Stop hitmaker is reportedly wanted by X Factor boss Simon Cowell for the new series.
Si has previously admitted being a fan of the former Hannah Montana star, saying she'd be a great panelist.
"I met Miley and I really liked her. She has an opinion or sure," he said.
Now supposed X Factor insiders claim Miley is set to enter talks with show producers.
"Simon's convinced she'd be great and would bring a youthful presence to the panel," one source told magazine. "He thinks she's current, edgy and fearless - everything a great pop star should be."
But will Cheryl Cole - who Simon has revealed will have a big say on who joins her on the panel - agree?
As well as Miley it was reported this week that US star Rihanna was also on Simon's wishlist of potential X Factor judges.
An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: “Simon and Cheryl have two months to find someone to sit in that chair and they want to get the right person.
“This year is an important one for The X Factor. Simon can’t be complacent and has to come back with a real A Team. Rihanna would be a shock selection because she is not an obvious choice for a family show – but that’s what he wants.”
Speaking at last night's premiere of X Factor musical I Can't Sing, Simon revealed: "I’ve never spoken to her [Rihanna] about it. I mean it would be nice but I don’t think she’d be available."
Other names linked to the show have included Olly Murs, Rita Ora, Joss Stone, Mel B and Ellie Goudling.
The X Factor 2014 auditions begin next month ahead of the show's return to out tellys in the autumn on ITV.
