The Voice 2014 finalist Lee Glasson has said the BBC One show is the only talent contest for him.
The insurance salesman wowed us in the first ever audition of this year's third series and is now through to the live shows on Kylie Minogue's team.
And it sounds like Lee's grateful for the Beeb for giving him the chance to shine by putting The Voice on our screens, saying he's never wanted to audition to ITV's offering in the form of The X Factor
"I always said I'd never do X Factor," Lee said this week. "I don't like the format and what it stands for.
"Watching The Voice I could see they would go in, come out and still be themselves."
Lee added: "My instincts were correct - no one is trying to make me something I'm not. "
This Saturday night Lee and his fellow Team Kylie singers Rachael O'Connor and Jamie Johnson will all be singing live in a bid to make the semi-finals but only two of them will make the cut.
Whatever the result, it seems as though Lee's just having a brilliant time singing for mentor Kylie.
"She's ace," he gushed, "I was just with her a week ago [This interview took place last week.]
"The further you get into the competition the more you get to know her. She's so down-to-earth, successful, beautiful and cool."
The Voice UK airs this Saturday night on BBC One from 6:45PM.
