Cheryl Cole is backing some perhaps surprising names to join The X Factor 2014.
It's been widely reported that the Girls Aloud star has been given the power to decide who joins the show this year alongside both herself and X Factor boss Simon Cowell.
According to The Sun newspaper today, Cheryl has put forward some interesting suggestions.
The newspaper reports that Cheryl is backing songwriters Amanda Ghost - famous for the hits of everyone from Beyonce to James Blunt - and Sia Furler - of Titanium fame, who has also written tracks for the likes of Katy Perry and Rihanna.
A range of names have been linked to the judging line up already with Black Eyed Peas star Fergie, former X Factor USA judge Demi Lovato and Sharon Osbourne all reportedly in talks with show bosses.
However bookies have already claimed that it's a 'done deal' Sharon will be back following reports she wants to come back for one last 'hurrah' with Simon Cowell.
Although the search may still be on to complete the line-up, punters are convinced it will be Sharon and have backed her odds of being a mentor again into just 6/4.
Olly Murs and Rita Ora are now out to 4/1 in the betting, whilst Dannii Minogue has also seen her chance drift to 10/1.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "Punters are backing Sharon like it's a done deal, and as far as they're concerned she'll be back on the X Factor panel this year."
The X Factor 2014 begins on ITV in the autumn.
