X Factor 2014 judge Chery Cole is reportedly getting support from her ex-boyfriends.
Which doesn't sound like an awful idea at all.
The Girls Aloud star is said to have called on both her former husband Ashley Cole and recent ex-boyfriend Tre Holloway to help her out backstage, which should be brilliantly awkward.
According to the ever-accurate Daily Star newspaper, Cheryl even revealed news of her return to the show to Ashley first before any announcement was made.
“She will be a bag of nerves backstage at the shows and she knows Ashley and Tre have always been great at calming her down," a supposed source told the newspaper.
Cheryl - currently single - is understandably worried about her big comeback going all wrong much like her attempted launch in the US in 2011.
“Simon used to spend all his time hanging out with Cheryl in her dressing room but it seems those days are over," the insider explained. “Cheryl is really nervous about the shows – especially after the American X Factor turned out to be a disaster for her.
“So having two men there who know her really well will make her feel more comfortable and secure."
The source added: “Cheryl texts and talks to both of them regularly so it won’t be at all awkward having them around.”
The X Factor will begin filming in June with the show airing on ITV in the autumn.
