X Factor finalist Tamera Foster has been signed by Simon Cowell's Syco record label.
The singer - who finished last year's show in fifth place - revealed to her followers today that she had signed a deal with the music mogul's company.
"SO GUYS I HAVE NEWSSS," Tamera tweeted in the early hours of this morning. "I'm The Newest member of syco music!! GET THAT WORKK!"
She added: "IM SO BLESSED TO HAVE MY DREAM JOB AT THE AGE OF 17, Thank God Always"
The official Syco Twitter account was quick to confirm the announcement, tweeting in reply: "[email protected] welcome to the family!"
“She got a rough time on the show because she forgot her lyrics all the time, but she’s incredibly young," a source told The Sun newspaper this morning. “There’s definitely something special about her.
“She’s a potential superstar in the making.”
The teenager is the latest of last year's acts to be signed with winner Sam Bailey and runner up Nicholas McDonald already preparing to release their albums this month.
Details of Tamera's debut album are expected to be revealed soon but for now you can catch Tamers as part of the X Factor tour line up.
The X Factor live tour continues next week with performances in Brighton and London's O2 arena before the show concludes in Birmingham at the end of the month.
