Cheryl Cole will be the only girl allowed on The X Factor 2014 panel if she gets her way.
The singer is reportedly demanding that producers only hire another male performer if she agrees to comeback to the show.
It's look like Chezza will be returning to the series alongside Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh, leaving a fourth spot open following Nicole Scherzinger's exit.
With speculation over who could be joining, with rumours suggesting Rita Ora, a source said: “If Cheryl does come back as planned, she will be the only woman on the panel.
“That’s how she wanted it and at this moment she seems to be calling the shots."
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, the insider added: “They’re still finalising the other details but Cheryl made it clear she didn’t want to be pitched against another female again.”
It's been claimed that Simon is offering Cheryl a huge £2 million deal to return to the series as well as access to his private jet and a host of extras including an ‘unlimited’ clothing budget for the live shows.
“I think she would be crazy to turn it down but you never know with Cheryl,” Simon said at the weekend. “She needs the show, but then we need her too. We both need each other.
“Is she still the nation’s sweetheart? She hasn’t been on TV for three years so who knows.”
Speaking to the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper, Simon continued: “She hasn’t been around for a while but she only needs to peel an orange and she’s in the papers. That’s the interesting thing about her.”
But Si added: “I’m not sure yet though. She still has her poker face on.”
