The Voice 2014: The acts who didn't get to sing for the judges

The Voice UK auditions ended at the weekend but some acts missed out on singing for the judges.

While the editing made it out that Will.i.am left it to the last possible act to finally complete his team the truth was less dramatic.

We saw the Black Eyed Peas star apparently pressing his buzzer for singer Cherri Prince as the symbol clashed on the final note of her song, a cover of Sam Brown's Stop.

Will was indeed the final coach to finish selecting his twelve acts but did so with six artists still waiting behind the scenes to audition.

Unfortunately with all the teams full there was no possible chance for them to make the next rounds so just what happened to them? Well they weren't given their train ticket home and a kick out of the door.

Producers decided to give the six piece the opportunity to sing for the panel anyway with Will, Kylie Minogue, Ricky Wilson and Sir Tom Jones staying on set to offer up some advice, tips and coaching for the future.

They also got a more than welcome invite to return to audition for next year's series where we'd like to think they will be the first in the queue to perform.
