We told on Sunday how the sexy singer had been on the ITV series four years ago but didn't make it past the bootcamp stages.
Speaking about her knock back from Simon Cowell, Jade said: “I did The X Factor in 2010 and got to Boot Camp stage, but I was never shown on TV, so that was a bit disappointing.
"But everything happens for a reason and it’s better this way.”
On Saturday night, Jade had the audience – and Kylie Minogue – on their feet with a “sassy” cover of Gabriella Cilmi’s number one hit Sweet About Me and the Aussie star was the first to turn.
Ricky Wilson, Will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones all followed as they pressed their buzzers in quick succession, making Jade only the third act this series to have all four coaches turning for her.
But it left the 21-year-old with a tough task when it came to deciding which team to join.
Explaining her choice for joining Team Kylie, Jade said: “I’ve always really listened to Will.i.am’s music, but when Kylie turned round and I saw her reaction, there was no question. I wasn’t even swayed to go anywhere else – she drew me in, we had a connection!"
She added to new! magazine this week: “I can’t really relate much to Ricky because I don’t know him that well. I wouldn’t listen to his music. Tom Jones is a legend but I didn’t feel like my voice would benefit from working with him.”
The Voice UK continues next weekend on BBC One with the latest blind auditions show.
