Simon Cowell is apparently after both Nicole Scherzinger and Cheryl Cole on The X Factor 2014 panel.
And the X Factor boss is said to be hoping for feuds between the pair.
It was previously reported this month that Simon had already offered Nicole £3 million to return for a third season.
“She is thought of as one of the family. Simon loves her both on screen and off and feels she has been extremely popular with the viewers," a source told The Sun newspaper. “Money is no object to Simon on this one. He is ready to throw whatever he has to at her."
Meanwhile, the Daily Star newspaper claimed last week that Cheryl had agreed to a £2 million deal.
“Talks have been going on for weeks and Simon has been doing everything to persuade her. Finally she has agreed. Simon believed Cheryl’s return was the key to his new ideas for the show,"an insider said.
It'd certainly make a change to last year's panel, which was branded 'too nice'.
"Simon has a clear vision of how the panel should look," a source told the publication. "He wants to return the focus of the show to the feuding judges and hopes Cheryl Cole and Nicole Scherzinger would fight over him on the show.
"He knows both ladies would make a dream team and their history means they would make for unmissable TV."
The source added: "Simon knows if he can get the ladies on board, it would be ratings gold."
A spokesperson for The X Factor insisted that no official decisions about the new series had been made.
Auditions for the eleventh series of The X Factor will begin in the Spring with the show returning to ITV in the autumn.
