X Factor winner Sam Bailey is set to miss out on nearly £100,000 thanks to a sloppy organisation mix up.
Sam - or whoever won last year's series - was due to support Beyonce on tour in her latest UK arena concert next month.
According to the Daily Star Sunday, Sam would've sung on the tour for around ten shows, with up to a £10,000 fee for each.
But a clash with the official X Factor live tour means Sam will miss all but one of the dates.
For example, when Beyonce is playing the O2 on March 1, the X Factor tour is hundreds of miles away in Glasgow. As a result, Sam will only support Beyonce in Birmingham on February 24.
An insider told the newspaper: “Sam was expected to rake in a lot of money from this. But the X Factor live tour has ruined that.
“Touring with Beyoncé was meant to be one of the big perks of winning X Factor. But now she’s just doing one date."
They added: “Sam is worried it could all be over by this time next year. So she was hoping to bank as much money as possible, as early as possible.”
Nevertheless, even singing alongside Beyonce once is set to be a huge deal for Sam, who admitted after she won: “I am going to feel a little out of my depth because this is Beyonce were talking about and I’m little old Sam Bailey from Leicester.
“It’s an amazing prize and a great opportunity and I can’t wait to do it because who can say they’ve done that – I might have to learn to dance a bit.”
