X Factor 2014 bosses are keen to get Nicole Scherzinger back on the panel next year, it's been claimed.
There has already been plenty of speculation over next year's judging line up, with Gary Barlow and Sharon Osbourne having previously confirmed their exits.
Nicole's yet to officially announce her intentions, although previous reports have claimed it "unlikely" that she'll be returning.
The Sun newspaper today reports that the singer has just signed a new record deal worth £3 million with global music label Sony, who are behind The X Factor and Simon Cowell's own Syco label.
It'll see Nicole release a new solo album in the summer, but focusing on the record could rule her out of a return to The X Factor.
“Nicole was the most popular member of the X Factor panel this year and is the real winner in terms of bankability," a source said. "She is set to sign with Sony and can’t wait to get back to her music, which took a back seat during X Factor.”
Nicole's all set to rake it in over the next twelve months and not just thanks to the album, with a new sponsorship deal seeing her star in more of those shampoo ads and plans to launch her own clothing line with fashion label Missguided.
But the busy schedule has left Nicole split on whether or not she can squeeze in another series of The X Factor.
The source added to the tabloid: “She’s torn between the two — she loves the show and loves working on it but is conflicted.
“She is taking time out at home with her family to decide what move is best to make.”
According to the paper, bosses are keen for Nicole to remain on the show alongside Louis Walsh, with Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell both returning to fill the empty seats.
