Nicole Scherzinger is said to be unlikely to return to The X Factor panel next year.
The 'Boomerang' singer is reported to have signed a deal with British fashion Missguided as part of a plan to conquer the UK without the ITV show.
According to the Daily Mirror, Nicole is set to launch her own clothing line with the brand here in Blighty, as well as release her new album.
“Missguided think she could be great for the brand and fashion is something she wants to get into," a source told the newspaper.
But it all means that a third series on The X Factor appears unlikely.
The supposed insider continued: “Nothing has been signed for next year’s X Factor and it’s likely that she won’t be going back, so it’s a great opportunity for Nicole to venture into new areas.
“She wants to continue working in the UK as she loves it here and feels like an honorary Brit."
They added: "She’s obviously going to be continuing with her music and this will be another string to her bow.”
Nicole joined The X Factor UK in 2012 after a series of guest judges appeared during the auditions, going on to win the series with James Arthur.
Before that, the Pussycat Doll singer was on the X Factor USA panel, having replaced an axed Cheryl Cole during the auditions.
Her potential exit means the need for at least three new members of the panel next summer, with both Gary Barlow and Sharon Obsourne having already confirmed their own exits.
ITV recently renewed both the singing contest and its sister show Britain's Got Talent for a further three years, seeing them staying on air until at least 2016.
