X Factor judge Gary Barlow has admitted he'll miss the "adrenaline rush" of the live shows.
The Take That star insisted however that it was his time to leave the show after three years.
Gary announced live on the finals earlier this year that he would not be returning for a fourth series next summer.
"I've had three beautiful years on the show, really enjoyed it, met some friends - some friends for life - but it's time to go," Gary said this week.
He added: “I’m going to miss it – the adrenaline rush and the excitement every weekend. I’ve loved the good, the bad, the ugly. I’ve learned a lot.”
Speaking before the final, Gary confessed he would be relaxed this weekend having no acts in the final three.
"I'm very disappointed Rough Copy went, they were so close. [But] I've got a very relaxing weekend, you may even see my feet up on the desk," Gary said backstage at Wembley Arena.
But it won't be a completely stress free Sunday today, with Gary set to sing alongside Elton John in a very special duet.
"I'm the guy with Elton, if you're looking for me, that's where I'll be!" he joked.
Meanwhile, Gary gave X Factor favourite Sam Bailey some advice on her debut album if she's crowned as winner tonight.
The singer suggested: “If she doesn’t make the right record she’ll end up with more votes than record sales.
"A covers album would be the easy way out for Sam, but that would be the worst idea.”
The X Factor 2013 final continues tonight on ITV from 7:30PM, featuring performances from Gary Barlow, Elton John, Katy Perry and One Direction.
