Luke Friend has finished The X Factor 2013 in third place on tonight's final results.
This evening saw Luke, Nicholas McDonald and Sam Bailey all compete in the first half of this weekend's ultimate live show.
The trio performed a new song and reprised their favourite performance from the previous live before singing a celebrity duet in a bid to get votes.
After a night of voting, the lines were frozen and host Dermot O'Leary revealed that Luke had received the fewest votes to win the show.
The teenager, who this evening performed on stage alongside Ellie Goudling, said: "It was absolutely mental. Everyone thought I was the underdog but I got here. I'm going to keep on writing music."
His mentor Louis Walsh added: "He's got something unique, he's going to have an amazing career, watch this space!"
It leaves Luke and Sam to fight it out in tomorrow's last show of the series, with the duo singing their potential winner's song.
The X Factor 2013 continues tomorrow night with the live final results from Wembley Arena from 7:30PM on ITV.
As well as the final performances and results, a host of guest stars will also be singing.
In a worldwide exclusive X Factor’s very own Gary Barlow will be joined by Britain’s biggest music icon, platinum-selling and multi award winning Elton John, to perform their new single ‘Face to Face’.
Joining them will be global superstar Katy Perry, who wowed audiences earlier in the series with her performance of her hit single ‘Roar’. For the final she will be singing her latest track ‘Unconditionally’.
And lastly, global phenomenon One Direction return to the show where it all started for them, celebrating a whirlwind year having achieved massive global success; including 35 million worldwide music sales, a No. 1 Box Office movie and a whole host of awards.
