How will the X Factor final work?
Tonight (Saturday) lines will open at the start of the show. They'll freeze towards the end, with Dermot O'Leary then making the announcement on who has received the fewest votes and will be leaving in third place. Lines will then re-open, finally closing in tomorrow night's live show where the first and second place acts will be announced.

Where will it be filmed?
This year The X Factor final will be coming live from Wembley Arena in London. It's the third series in a row the show has moved out of its usual studio for the final, with 10,000 fans watching live from the venue.

What's the X Factor 2013 winner's single?
Neither ITV nor The X Factor have yet to confirm any details about this year's X Factor's winner's single, but we do know that profits will be donated to charity.

This year the money will be split between Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and Together For Short Lives.

“Both Together for Short Lives and Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity are really important charities. Every day they do inspiring work and help a load of kids and their families, all of which need their expertise and support,” said X Factor boss Simon Cowell.

What are this year's celebrity duets?
Sam Bailey will perform 'Am I Telling You' with judge Nicole Scherzinger.

Following press reports that he'd team up with either Ellie Goulding or Jessie J, Luke Friend will be joined by the former for a special version of her hit single 'Anything Could Happen'.

Finally, Nicholas McDonald has drawn the short straw and will team up with former Westlife member Shane Filan to cover one of the boyband's signature tracks, 'Flying Without Wings'.

Which stars will be performing?
The X Factor UK final will see a huge range of stars, with the highlight seeing Gary Barlow will be joined by Britain’s biggest music icon, platinum-selling and multi award winning Elton John, to perform their new single ‘Face to Face’.

Joining them will be global superstar Katy Perry, singing her latest track ‘Unconditionally’. Global phenomenon One Direction also return to the show where it all started for them, celebrating a whirlwind year having achieved massive global success; performing their brand new single ‘Midnight Memories’.

Completing the star studded line up are international rock band The Killers, who will be performing some of their most loved hits ‘Mr Brightside’ and ‘Human’, and singer-songwriter Tom Odell.

The Killers and Tom Odell will perform on Saturday, with Gary Barlow and Elton John, Katy Perry and One Direction performing on Sunday.

As well as all that, there will be a special performance from X Factor characters past, with Wagner, 2 Shoes, Kitty Brucknell and Jedward all back on stage.

Who will win?
No one knows for certain, but bookies have made Sam Bailey the huge odds-on favourite, with Nicholas McDonald in an ever distant second place.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "This year's final might lack excitement but punters won't mind as long as Sam takes home the title."
