X Factor 2013 judge Louis Walsh reckons that Tamera Foster needs to take the show more seriously.
The teenager had been a strong favourite to win the series, but her odds have tumbled after a string of poor performances.
Earlier this month, Tamera was in the bottom two and almost eliminated, while at the weekend she forgot her words in her latest performance.
Speaking to Now magazine this week, Louis Walsh said: "I'd like her to just take it a little more seriously, but she will definitely gt a record deal. "
The music mogul didn't comment on claims that Sam had started a relationship with his act Sam Callahan, saying he knew nothing about it.
But even if there were romances going on, Louis said he'd leave it up to the contestants to deal with themselves.
"They never listen," the Irish music manager said. "They're too young - they think they're in love and all that.
"It's the girls who wreck it for them, but boys will be boys."
Meanwhile, Louis confessed he regretted not putting through one act to the live shows this year.
He explained: "I regret not putting Paul Akister through this series. I've been in touch with him a few times."
The X Factor continues this Saturday and Sunday night on ITV.
