Louis Walsh has been speaking about his X Factor final six, and reckons he's on to a winner.

The Irish music mogul is looking after the boys on this year's show, having previously won with the category last time he was mentoring them.

Giles Potter, Luke Friend, Nicholas McDonald, Paul Akister, Ryan Mathie and Sam Callahan all remain in the competition, flying out to southern France this weekend for judges' houses.

Speaking about his choices at bootcamp, Louis said: "I'm very happy with them, I picked the right six but the not the six I thought I would, it changed and changed.

"[Bootcamp] was tough as hell but very honest, just like the music business."

Talking about his acts on the Xtra Factor, Louis gushed: "Sam jumped out on that stage and he was a bundle of energy and he just wanted it. "

Louis also revealed: "Little cheeky Giles was on my maybe list then he jumped into the yes list, people are going to like him, girls are going to like him."

The veteran X Factor judge also praised "original and different" Luke and described 16-year-old Nicholas as a "genuine" performer.

Which of the three do you think Louis should take through to the live shows?

The X Factor 2013 judges' houses airs this weekend on Saturday and Sunday on ITV.
