X Factor's Giles Potter has suggested that singers audition for The Voice UK next year.
But it wasn't a bitter attack from the teenager, who last night we saw eliminated from the competition.
Giles admitted that the ITV series had given him a much bigger chances than the BBC One series would have ever done.
Yesterday, Louis Walsh told Giles he was going home after failing to make it through to the live shows of this year's competition.
However 16-year-old Giles was lucky to even make it through to judges' houses, after Gary Barlow branded his bootcamp performance a "car crash".
He ranted after Giles' performance at Wembley Arena last week: “I want you to go all the way. We’ve got to get the vocals up to that level."
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, Giles claimed that The X Factor was better than its BBC rival for showcasing more than just good vocals.
“You don’t have to have the best voice, I know I don’t. It’s about what you put into your performance. If you want to be a vocalist, go on The Voice," he said.
The Worcester student added: "X Factor is about the package. You’ve got to have all of it. It’s about personality and, sometimes, the voice.”
