The group includes former hopeful Duane Lamonte, who has twice auditioned for the show.
Duane previously performed for the judges in both 2008 and 2009, but both times failed to make it through to the final live stages.
This year the 28-year-old is back and part of the group Brick City, who have impressed the judges enough to make it at least into bootcamp.
"The judges like them and think they have potential," a source said.
But will groups mentor Gary Barlow put them into the live shows later this year?
Former X Factor champ Leona Lewis will be hoping so, as she's a pal of Duane's and is backing them to win, the Daily Star reports.
The X Factor 2013 is set to air on Saturday, August 31 and continue on the Sunday.
The show will then air on every Saturday and Sunday through until December on ITV.
