X Factor 2013: Sharon Osbourne's told to cut the swearing

Sharon Osbourne (X Factor 2013)

X Factor 2013 judge judge Sharon Osbourne has been told to clean up her act.

The outspoken music manager isn't known for mincing her words, but some of her rants have already been declared to rude for TV.

Sharon is back on the show this year after four years, returning to the panel alongside Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger.

But producers are said to be finding it difficult to edit some of her outbursts into the series, which airs well before the watershed.

And according to The Sun, TV chiefs are worried about her managing to keep it PG when it the live finals kick off in the autumn.

“Sharon has been on fine form. But so much has to be edited out as she keeps cursing on camera," a source told the newspaper this morning. “Sometimes she becomes so involved she forgets to censor her language and swear words just pour out."

The supposed insider added to the tabloid: “It could cause real problems when we get round to the live shows.”

She added: "Gary should be the head judge as he's got a wealth of experience on both sides of the industry.

"He knows what he's doing and he's the best."

The X Factor 2013 auditions will start next month on ITV.
