The X Factor 2013 judges reckon that the groups are proving to be the strongest category at the moment.
Nicole Scherzinger, Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne are holding auditions all this week in Wembley ahead of bootcamp.
And all four are excited about the groups.
“At this point I think the groups [are strongest] and I think that’s interesting because I don’t think the groups have ever been strong from auditions," Gary Barlow told us. "I think we’ve got a really good bunch of people this year.”
And he suggested that the bands that had auditioned were different from previous acts.
"The good groups have something different actually. Like a different configuration so it could be interesting.”
Nicole agreed, telling us on the red carpet on Monday: "I usually want the girls because I connect to them on a personal level being a girl, but the groups are looking pretty strong as well, we'll have to see.
"There's a lot of boy, girl groups that we're not used to seeing."
However Sharon admitted she didn't want to mentor the category, no matter how strong it is!
She laughed: "I couldn’t have the bands, I couldn’t remember any f***er’s name,” she explains.
“I get confused. Too many people, ridiculous. Five and six people in a band, who can deal with that? One person’s name is enough.”
