The groups category is once again struggling on The X Factor UK this year.
Despite the success of the likes of One Direction, Little Mix and Union J in recent years, original groups are still failing to turn up to the auditions.
The judges' try outs are almost over, but with little talent in the category producers have rushed a new set of auditions just for groups today at the Price Studios in Battersea, London.
Those who impress will face the judges on Wednesday at the final day of auditions in front of the judges.
According to The Sun, this year has seen the judges tougher than ever, with new judge Sharon Osbourne only after the best.
“Sharon and Gary are teaming up against lacklustre talent — and without the arena audience being there to persuade them as in previous years, not many acts are making it through," a source told the newspaper. “Nicole and Louis are more open to the idea of developing the acts.
“But Sharon and Gary are insisting that they only want the best. It’s causing a bit of a split between the panel. Ideally, they want to get groups that have been together a while and have got chemistry, rather than having to make their own.
“They know the talent is out there, they just have to find it.”
To apply, meet The X Factor on 1st July at 9am at Price Studios, 110 York Road, Battersea, London SW11 3RD
